Wellesley State Park, the largest park in New York

Us and about 10 other campers were here in a park that would hold a thousand, all the other resorts are closed for the season
We were amazed that they allowed hunting in the State Park, but we heard gunshots when I was out walking the dogs
Beautiful park set on one of the Thousand Islands
Lots of cabins overlooking the water
The leaves were turning but it was raining hard

There must have been 5 miles of park roads connecting all the different camping sites
We stayed a couple nights, no wifi, so no chance to blog
but well worth it
