Those of you who watch the Fabulous Beekman Boys on tv will get a hoot out of this, Cindy saw the exit sign to Sharon Springs and said we gotta go and see where they live,
so off we went
Sharon Springs is at the foot of the Catskill Mountains
In it's hey day it was a very large spa resort destination, 10,000 people from all over came each summer
Now most of the buildings are historic relics, but a number of people are trying to revive the town, the Beekman boy's included
Huge resorts that if restored could probably house the whole town of 500
One of the restored resorts houses the Beekman merchantile, it wasn't open when we were there
All in all a very cute town with a long history
